Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (ΚΑΨ) was founded on January 5, 1911, at Indian University Blooming. The fraternity is a social fraternity created on the fundamental purpose of achievement in every field in human endeavor. The fraternity is comprised of over 160,000 members, 721 undergraduate and alumni chapters in every state of the United States, and international chapters in ten countries. Kappa Alpha Psi sponsors programs providing community service, social welfare, and academic scholarship.
